I have a passion for working with young people and families to help them overcome challenges in their lives. When working with children I utilize a combination of play therapy, expressive arts therapy, sensory integration, client-centered talk therapy and mindfulness techniques. In working with older adolescents and adults I utilize mindfulness, family systems, motivational interviewing, and experiential models of therapy. My goal is to always meet the client where they are and help the client discover the path that will help them reach their goals.
I am a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals and have a strong interested in the treatment of eating disorders. I have also worked extensively with children between the ages of two and eighteen who struggle with anxiety, depression, developmental delays, ADHD or have experienced trauma. I am able to work with both the child and the family to promote understanding, healthy coping strategies, and progress towards goals.
