Filing Claims for Insurance

If your provider is in-network with your insurance, we can file claims with your insurance for you. To file claims with your insurance on your behalf, you must give consent for us to release some information to your insurance provider. Insurance will later provide payment and an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) showing how much you are responsible for.

Maintaining Your Account Balance

You are responsible for paying your bills to maintain your account and services may be placed on hold or discontinued if you do not pay your bills - your clinician will speak with you about this before it happens.

Credit Card on File

To make it easier to keep your account paid, you can place a credit card on file to be automatically charged. This is optional and is intended to make it easier to keep your account paid. We will notify you each time you have an invoice and when we charge the card on file.

Good Faith Estimate (In Compliance with the No Surprises Act)

At the time you begin services, your clinician will provide you with a "Good Faith Estimate" which shows the cost per session and the number of sessions you are expected to receive for the current year. If your clinician has not yet mentioned it, please feel free to ask them about it. The cost per session is the same as it has always been, but you will receive an estimated total cost as well to make it easier for you to plan your finances.

Super Bills

If your provider is not in-network with your insurance, then we cannot file claims with your insurance on your behalf and you will be responsible for paying the cost of services yourself. We can provide you with a Superbill that you may be able to file with your insurance yourself to receive reimbursement for the cost of services. You will need to check with your insurance provider to see if you can submit Superbills yourself because not all accept Superbills.

Out of Network Benefits

Some insurance networks will still provide partial coverage if your clinician is not in-network; however, many do not. If your insurance does not provide any out-of-network benefits, then you will need to pay the entire cost of services out of pocket.
