Supporting Your Wellness

Streamlined Insurance Claims

If your provider is in-network with your insurance, we can file insurance claims on your behalf. To facilitate this process, you must consent to our release of certain information to your insurance provider. Upon processing, your insurance will send payment along with an Explanation of Benefits (EOB), which outlines your account balance and how much you are responsible for. Additionally, for your records, we can provide a Good Faith Estimate and Superbills that detail the services rendered, which may assist you in managing credit card payments if needed.

Flexible Payment Options

You are responsible for managing your account balance by making timely credit card payments. If you do not pay your bills, services may be placed on hold or discontinued, and your clinician will discuss this with you before it occurs. Additionally, you may receive a Good Faith Estimate regarding your insurance claims or Superbills related to your services.

Secure Payment Options

You can pay your account balance with credit card payments in the office or over the phone. We use Square to securely process these credit card payments. Please note that a 3.5% transaction fee will be applied when using credit cards. Alternatively, you can opt to pay your balance by check or cash without incurring any transaction fees.

To simplify keeping your account paid, you have the option to place a credit card on file for automatic charges. This service is optional and designed to help manage your account balance efficiently. Each time you receive a Good Faith Estimate or an invoice, we will notify you, along with a reminder before charging the card on file. Additionally, we will contact you prior to placing any charges exceeding $100, particularly regarding insurance claims or Superbills.

Clear Pricing

At the time you begin services, your clinician will provide you with a "Good Faith Estimate" at your request. This estimate will show the cost per session, the number of sessions you are expected to receive for the current year, and an estimated total cost. This will help you manage your account balance and plan your finances effectively. If your clinician hasn't mentioned this yet, don't hesitate to ask about it. The cost per session remains the same, and you can also use this information to inform your credit card payments or to submit any necessary insurance claims, which may include requesting Superbills for your records.

Superbill Support

If your provider is not in-network with your insurance, we cannot file insurance claims on your behalf, and you will be responsible for your own account balance, including any credit card payments for the cost of services. However, we can provide you with a Superbill, which you may be able to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. It's essential to check with your insurance provider regarding their policy on submitting Superbills, as not all insurance networks accept them. Additionally, consider asking for a Good Faith Estimate for a clearer understanding of your expected costs.

Out-of-Network Coverage

Some insurance networks may still offer partial coverage if your clinician is not in-network; however, many do not. If your insurance plan does not include out-of-network benefits, you will be responsible for covering the entire cost of services yourself. In this case, being mindful of your account balance is essential, especially if you need to use credit card payments. Additionally, requesting a Good Faith Estimate can help you understand the expected costs ahead of time. Remember, if you end up paying out of pocket, obtaining Superbills for your services may assist you in filing insurance claims for potential reimbursement.
