I see therapy as a place where you can come and talk about anything that’s on your mind. We can work together to problem solve, explore things that you want to better understand about yourself or the world, and to build up coping skills. Therapy is a safe space for you to process what you want to work toward. There may be times where I challenge you a bit, but we will always takes things at your pace.
In your treatment, I will draw upon various therapeutic models and tailor them to you and your needs. My main models for therapy include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I have experience working with individuals with anxiety, anger, depression, bipolar, self-harm, suicidality, trauma, PTSD, borderline personality, and schizophrenia.
