Having questions or concerns regarding learning or behavioral challenges for your child or teen can be intimidating. Psychological evaluation is often the key to better understanding your child or teen’s unique challenges. Working together, we will evaluate, understand and collaborate on both short-term and long-term goals, as well as treatments that will serve as a pathway to a successful future for your child. We will lay the foundation for understanding a particular diagnosis and work on day-to-day strategies that will serve to strengthen your relationships and build a foundation for success in various settings.
I received my doctorate in School Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Through my training, I gained valuable knowledge and extensive experience in the areas of evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in a wide variety of settings, including schools and community health care centers. I have a particular passion for working with families of children on the autism spectrum. I enjoy collaborating with and empowering parents with positive and proven techniques and strategies that help them to better understand challenging behavior. I also enjoy working with older teens on the autism spectrum and have had success in helping them to better understand their diagnosis and develop strategies for living a happy and healthy life.
My greatest satisfaction comes from helping parents, children and adolescents to find answers. Helping my clients to realize their own potential, try new things, step out with confidence and gain control of their lives through the plans, goals and strategies we establish together, is the highest form of affirmation for me personally.
I look forward to working with you, your child or teen, and your family to overcome any challenges that you are currently experiencing. Let’s work together to understand, empower and achieve!
