Medication Management

If you are new to therapy, you may have many images and ideas that come to mind. You may find it hard to make the initial call. You may have previous experience with therapy, but you may be searching for a new approach or  want to find a therapist you connect with. At Knoxville Behavioral &  Mental Health Services, we are happy to address any questions or concerns you might have prior to an appointment through email or phone consultation. 

In order for healing to occur, we  believe the connection between you and your therapist must be a good  fit.  We encourage open and continuous dialogues about our relationship. Please check our "About Us" section to learn more about our staff.

Once  an appointment is requested, you will be contacted to set up an initial time to meet. During this first visit,  we will gather background information in order to further discuss  therapeutic options available within our area of practice. This includes the various types of evidence-based treatments we offer, expected treatment duration, and possible referrals to individuals and/or agencies who  specialize in a particular area. At the end of the initial appointment, we will collaboratively decide if we are a good fit (e.g., personality styles, treatment options, fees, etc.). We want you to get the most out of our work together!
