Greetings! I was born and raised in sunny San Diego, California. I lived in Alaska for over a decade before relocating to Tennessee with my family 2 years ago. I received my Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University. I have been in practice for 13 years and work as a generalist, seeing children, teens, and adults. I am passionate about helping clients improve their self-care so they can enjoy the highest quality of life possible. I primarily treat depression, anxiety, relationship problems, and work / school stress utilizing person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, transactional analysis (TA), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I also treat clients who have received a cancer diagnosis. As a cancer survivor myself, I know what an emotional roller coaster the disease can be, and want to help others navigate their own cancer journeys. In my free time, I enjoy going to the movies, working out at the gym, and exploring East Tennessee with my husband and our very mischievous dog.
